Project Background

The Virtual Pharmacy is a digital product of TELUS. Together with four other Canadian designers, I collaborated on this project. Our key objective was to give patients a seamless user experience. I maintained contact with the Product Owners, Developers, Project Managers, and Designers throughout this project.

The Goal of the Project

The main objective of the project was to redesign the appearance and feel of our digital product by integrating the guide style with our Design Library. Before final delivery, the Information Architecture was a challenging, stage-by-stage procedure, and each module had to be consistent. In order to make our product inclusive, we also had to pay close attention to our accessibility integrations.

Principal Responsibilities

The workplace has a lot of action. I had to be very dynamic and flexible during my workdays. I took part in our daily meetings with everyone else, when a substantial amount of time was spent talking about the digital product. I had to make several decisions and determine the best strategy for our design during these discussions. I worked on a variety of modules, including family management, new patient registration, prescriptions, care teams, and delivery, among others. I frequently communicated with project managers to explore the potential for changing user flows to address users' demands and ease their problems.

Conclusion and Future Work

Due to the project's complexity, the team should also take into account other digital products and integrate new features that users have requested. Regardless of the project's level, research is an ongoing effort.
